how to use computers We all love computers because they allow us to put our thoughts down on paper and share them with other people all over the world in articles, blogs, e-mails, myspace, facebook, comments to blogs, interactive newspapers allowing comments, free worldwide video, audio and text instant messaging, and internet dating sites. In other words computers and the internet are the cure for loneliness in a society which has suffered the breakup of the traditional family structure. Combined with your television and telephone you can lock yourself alone in your room and continue to have an exciting social life indefinitely. We no longer need 5 brothers and sisters, our parents and grandparents and monopoly boards to entertain us.

In fact, I can assure you that if you once try to learn about computers you will find yourself very interested. You will find out that computers are not so bad and they are easy to use. You gain so many conveniences using your computer. With just one click of the mouse, you will be able to accomplish many of your daily tasks. For example, you can book tickets for a concert, you can do the shopping online, you can check anything of interest, apply for loans and credit cards, play games, chat with your friends and colleagues, and of course, send e-mails.

When I was selling peripherals, I happen to ask my immediate supervisor how he would go about learning the hardware side of computers. And I’ll give you a tidbit of what I learned and the problems I encountered.

Yes, I did. I figured out that people would always want to get information about sports. I realized that people were always curious to know what they didn’t know. I couldn’t imagine a world without a news medium back then. And I still cannot imagine one without it now.

Of course, it is even more important to be protected if you are operating a commercial web site. You don’t want to be spreading viruses to your customers! In addition to antivirus and firewall protection be sure to use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and SSL Certificates.
