Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says pressure is on to start scoring

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has faith in their own forwards to achieve that, and accepts his side have to enhance their goalscoring record from the Premier League.
The Blades have scored only seven goals this year, with no player netting.
However, Wilder, whose staff were defeated 1-0 at home by Liverpool last weekend, is convinced his players have the capacity to find the back of the internet.
He explained:We have been pleased we have got the balance right, which I thought we did Saturday, in terms of the functionality, when to proceed, and if to take this opportunity to attempt to score.
You have got to try and score against these groups! You cant just park yourself on the edge of the box for 95 minutes – that is not our way.
But youve got to know teams are going to push you back. Liverpool, not that our fans may like it, may have more ownership!
We believe that our individual ability at the top of the pitch, if we receive the functionality right and we make chances, we have the ability to score.
The strain on to score. As I said, we are going to have to get the things that we want.
After the Liverpool match, Wilder told journalists that he wasnt bothered by the feelings of goalkeeper Dean Henderson, following his error allowed Georginio Wijnaldum to score that the Reds winner.
Those comments created a controversy, but Wilder has struck back, stating that his players will probably have his entire support.
Sometimes people say things to create debate and drag out something – but I didnt think there was anything in it, he explained.
It is as we manage. The players – Dean contained – are quite tough, with where theyve come from and the travel they have been around.
Last year, together with stress situations in the back end of the season, theyre tough men and we create a difficult mindset inside the group.
Im the largest supporter of these players with a million miles – myself and my team. I know exactly what they are about, what they provide for the soccer club and Im their biggest supporter.
Dean understands that, from a single point of view. There is no hiding spot. He moves on and we all proceed to the next Premier League game.
