Kyler Murray understands Kliff Kingbury’s offense better than most of his Arizona Cardinals teammates, but the rookie quarterback knows there are lots of strides to choose to receive their chemistry pat.
Before throwing the first pitch Tuesday in the Arizona Diamondbacks match, Murray told Fox Sports Arizona the group must continue to build on offseason workouts.

“Everybody isn’t on precisely the same page like I was with my guys in college right now,” Murray said. “I’ve just been here for a few months so it’s going to take some time, it is likely to take reps. But I am prepared for the ups and the downs, but so much for me personally it’s been great. The men were very accepting of me and that I can not wait to get the season started.”
During offseason workouts, Murray was praised by coaches and teammates alike for his mental capacity to understand the offense, his energetic, accurate passing ability and his ability to escape the pocket and become a playmaker.
Practices are a location. The upcoming big step will take place when the pads come on in training camp, the hitting begins, and the preseason will get underway.
“I think it will be an adjustment,” Murray stated. “Only for us rookies, it is going to be an adjustment. But I’ve always been confident in myself, just trust my abilities, trust what I can do on the soccer field along with trainer Kingsbury’s coaching, instructing me. I think us together along with the players which we have can be very dangerous.”
The Kliff Kingsbury experiment is going to be among the very intriguing plotlines when training camp opens. Its success or failure will rely greatly on Murray, as well as the QB building chemistry with his teammates immediately.
