Daniel Bryan came into the rescue of Roman Reigns on SmackDown since the alliance between the group was made official.
A thing of an uneasy truce has existed between Bryan and Reigns lately when he burst onto the scene to stop a three-on-one attack on the 43,, but last night the latter confirmed his personality change away from the dark side.
When he was taken by Baron Corbin out reigns was about to defeat Intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura in their title game and Sami Zayn joined in the melee to put a beating.
That brought out Bryan, who helped the heel trio runs and later made a tag team for a game against Corbin along with Nakamura.
That contest was a twisted affair and also included the destruction of a barrier and Bryan secured the win, pinning Nakamura after a Busaiku knee attack.
Nikki Cross wins title shot
SmackDown womens champion Bayley was on the show to explain her actions of the previous week, stating shes had enough of this one-way character of her relationship with the fans until quoting Vince McMahon:Life sucks, and then you die.
Together with Sasha Banks in her side, then took her seat to see a six-pack for a shot her title unfold as a SmackDown sextet started battle.
Scotlands Nikki Cross prevailed, pinning Mandy Rose after a neckbreaker following the remaining portion of the area had wiped each other out.
Strowman makes his stage
Drew Gulak the self-proclaimedmost eminent battle sports historian about the roster had some words of advice for Braun Strowman before his Crown Jewel game against Tyson Fury, and even went to the trouble of placing them.
However, the Monster Among Men wasnt stacked on the power moves in a one-sided contest against the prior Cruiserweight champion and interested in these advice.
Gulak is going to be unlikely to offer up any insight later on in this experience, which finished with a running powerslam, is anything to go by.
