Week 2 NFL Against The Spread Picks: Road Dogs

Trends worth Tracking:

DOGS of the NFL went 11-5 and dogs moved 7-3-1 ATS of the year in Week 1. ATS is be 10-5-1ed by ROAD teams so far dogs proceeded 9-6-1 Week 1. I anticipate profits . Dogs ATS last season in the initial two weeks went 19-13. Jacksonville is a puppy, they are on the street – this game is circled for reasons for me.

Upgrade/Downgrade
The experts that I trust over at TeamRankings.com have downgraded Houston 0.4pts from Week 1 to Week 2 and moved them down one rank to the #11 power rated club in the NFL. In terms of Jacksonville, they’re downgraded -1.1pts from Week 1 to Week two moving down them two spots on the #20 power rated team in the NFL.

Defensive Ratings:
Jacksonville’s didn’t fare well vs the Chiefs in Week 1. They let 491 yards and 40 pts using the Chiefs averaging 12.3 yards per stage. Jacksonville’s defense efficacy score was 15 percent, which means it required 15 percent of the Chiefs’ total yards to score 6pts.
The D of houston did not compared to New Orleans in Week 1. The Texans allowed 510 yards into Drew Brees and 30pts. Houston finished the game. Based on Week 1 numbers Houston is the #23 rated defense in the league along with Jacksonville is your #30 defense in the league.

Jacksonville Net/Net
With all things considered, Jacksonville’s offense did not look completely futile without Nick Foles who will be targeting a return for Week 11 and left with a broken. Until then the Jags will go Gardner Minshew who did not have a match versus the Chiefs.
Albeit they both were in garbage time, minshew travelled 22/25 throwing for 275 yards and two touchdowns. Leonard Fournette rushed for 66 yards, DJ Clark Jr’d 146 yards. Jacksonville was still Net/Net positive for Week 1 going for 8.6 yards per play and 8.2 yards against. A Net/Net rating of +0.4

Houston Net/Net
The offense in Week 1 of houston didn’t look exciting. Deshaun Watson travelled 20/30 casting for yards and 3 touchdowns. Carlos Hyde rushed for 83 yards on 10 attempts, and DeAndre Hopkins had 8 receptions for 111 yards.
However, the real negative for the Texans came from the defense who allowed 510 total yards against. The Texans finished the game with 7 yards per play offense and 7.8 yards against online defense. A Net/Net negative evaluation of -0.8.

The Ability Rating of alMac:
From what I watched out of Week 1 and blending it that I have from the 2018 NFL season. I have Jacksonville the 13 rated team in the NFL, in spite of the reduction of Foles I still think this team is immensely underrated in my view.
They were fairly dreadful last year as a whole permitting an average 5.1 yards per play but just profiting 4.8 on offense behind the exiled Blake Bortles. Despite the fact that it is tough to rate teams from only 1 week of a season, and particularly against a team such as the Chiefs whose offense is so good and protection is so poor. I like what I saw in Jacksonville, I enjoyed what I saw out of Fournette, DJ Clark and Chris Conley.
I believe they have any weapons which are underrated. In addition, I believe they are well trained with Doug Marrone on the sideline. Houston is looked at by you, I have to say pretty much the opposite. I believe Bill O’Brien is a terrible football trainer and it’s a significant reason why I am not high on Houston at this year.
I have Houston. A slight downgrade from what I observed at the end of last year in which they ended up finishing as the #16 team. Last season overall they were a small net positive group on crime with a score of +0.1, based on what I observed in Week 1 it is going to be much of the same for Houston.
I really don’t think Watson or Hopkins could do enough for this group to override the general malpractice that takes place on the Houston sideline. This group is well known for me proves otherwise.
I have Jacksonville as +3.8pts better than Houston to a neutral field, also +0.8pts greater than them on the road. I think this game can be won by that the Jags. This line opened -9.5 and has only proceeded into -8.5 and now back to -9 in which it sits in most places.

Give me Jacksonville +9 (-110) through Pinnacle

As mentioned about the puppies ATS in Week 2 of last year. I am also looking at a Week 1+2 trend from last year at which the bottom 8 futures teams went 7-8-1 straight up, +3.29 units around the money.
The lowest 8 futures groups at the very first week of the season this past year travelled 15-9 ATS as well. To go back much further, because 2017 – the lowest 8 teams over the futures market pre-season have gone 19-12-1 ATS in Week two of the 2017 and 2018 season. HOME teams in Week 2 of the NFL season this past season moved 11-5 straight up to +2.66units.
Again puppies are 9-6-1 ATS so far in 2019. Dogs have gone a combined 19-13 ATS in Week 2 of the past two seasons and also the lowest 8 futures teams this past year at the first five months of the year went 22-16 ATS.
The Cowboys are a high 8 futures team to initiate the season which has some significant tendencies to go with. Fading the best 8 futures the first 3 weeks of last year bettors went 14-10 ATS and 17-13 at the first 4 weeks of this year.

TeamRankings.com updates the Cowboys a whole 3 spots up to the 12 position after Week 1. Washington moves up one spot as much as the 28 rated team from the NFL according to their energy ratings.
Defensive Ratings:
Dallas finished Week 1 letting 470 meters against the NY Giants, but only letting 17 points. The Cowboys finished with a defensive efficiency score of 35.2% significance it took the Giants 35.2% of their overall yards to dent 6pts contrary to them.
Finishing the game, holding the Giants to an average of 27.6 metres per stage. They’re the #11 ranked defense in the league as per my evaluations after Week 1. Washington is your #27 ranked defense in the league as per my evaluations after Week 1.
They let 436 yards and 32 points from the Eagles. Finishing the game with a defensive performance rating of 18.7percent and in the end, the Eagles averaged 13.6 yards per point from Washington.
Washington Net/Net
Washington comes out of Week 1 with a web efficiency rating of -3.5percent but a general positive net metres average. Washington had an average of 6.9 yards per play. Case Keenum travelled 30/44 for 380 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Defensively they gave up a total of 436 yards but just 6.1 yards per play normally. Net/Net this group has a +0.8 rating. Last year Washington finished with a mean of 5 metres per play and allowed 5.7 yards per play . An internet rating -0.7. Based on the ancient appearances, this protection might be better than expected.
Dallas Net/Net
The Cowboys come from Week 1 using a net efficiency rating of +18.1% and overall a net positive yards typical. Dak Prescott threw for 405 yards in Week 1, Dallas had a combined 89 yards rushing and a total of 494 yards on crime and average of 2 metres per match.
They only grew up 470 yards complete against, an average of 7.1 yards per play against. A Net/Net rating of +0.9. This team finished last year with an average rating of +0. Gaining an average 5.4 yards per play along with giving up an average 5.4 yards against. Dallas looked improved with no doubt, on each side of the soccer in Week 1.

The Power Rating of alMac
I think that they are much better than what the market expects them to become this season after seeing Washington at Week 1. When comparing the 2 defenses Washington improving from last year tremendously is looked at by you, then you look at Dallas who gave up more yards than Washington did a week however allowed points that are much fewer.
In the end, I really don’t think there is much separating these two teams in an game up. I just rank the Cowboys about +0.3pts better compared to Washington at this stage. I think with all the benefit the Redskins might get an edge in this to be wholly honest.
This line must be based on my numbers but it sits at there’s a whole lot of worth on Washington and this line is way off. This one opened Redskins +7 and has only proceeded to +5.5, I think there’s about 8pts of value Washington ATS here. I think they could win this game also.

Require Washington +5.5 (-102) through Pinnacle

TeamRankings.com transfers Buffalo up 3 places to the #23 ranked team in the NFL. As the Giants drop 3 places to be the team rated in the NFL according to their power ratings.
Defensive Ratings:
Buffalo allowed only 223 yards against and 16pts against the Jets. Finishing with a 37.4% defensive performance score. They are the #7 ranked defense so far from 2019.
The Giants let 494 yards versus Dallas and 35 points, an average of 14.1 yards per stage to the Cowboys. They end with a defensive efficiency rating of 17.1percent and are the #29 rated defense according to my ratings so far.
Buffalo Net/Net
Buffalo comes having a efficiency score of +2 % from Week 1. Last week the Bills put up 370 total yards against the Jets. Josh Allen threw for 254 yards. Josh Brown proceeded for 123 yards with 1 touch and 7 receptions down.
Devin Singletary travelled for 70 yards rushing on just 4 attempts. They averaged 5.9 yards per play on offense and gave up 3.4 yards a play on defense. A Net/Net rating of +2.5. The Bills might be a group to back in the 2019 year old.
NY Giants Net/Net
The Giants come out of Week 1 using a web efficiency rating of -18.1 percent. 494 yards were permitted by them against. The Giants went for 470 yards on offense but only scored 17 points and finished the match with a mean of 7.1 yards per match. They come from the week with a Net/Net evaluation of -0.9. The Giants defense might be their Achilles heel.
The Power Rating of alMac:
Call me crazy but I have Buffalo rated as the #2 team from the NFL as per my ATS strength evaluations. Buffalo finished last season with an average of 4.9 yards allowed a play on defense. The best average in the league.
They just gained an average of 4.7 yards over the offensive side of the ball, but when they could improve even marginally on offense this season from last season – I believe they will be able to cover a whole lot of points spreads in months to come. I’ve got the Giants rated as the 26 team in the league.
Based on my numbers this game ought to be Buffalo -5.5. I’ve the Bills about 8.5pts greater than the Giants to a neutral area, +5.5pts greater than those on the street. The line started as the Giants being -2.5pt favorites and has since moved into the Bills being -1.5 pt favorites on the road. I’ve Buffalo.
The bet is on Buffalo +1.5 (-110) via Intertops

The Saints are the DOG (11-5 ATS in Week two of 2018 and 9-6-1 ATS Thus Far from 2019), respectively (7-8-1, +2.21units in Week two of 2018) The Saints are also the ROAD DOG (7-3-1 ATS so far in 2019) (ROAD Teams 10-5-1 ATS in 2019)
Upgrade/Downgrade:
TeamRankings.com moves the Saints 1 spot to the #4 spot in their electricity ratings downgrading them just under half-point after Week 1. The Rams are also downgraded 1 spot into the #6 on their strength ratings.
The Rams are the rare occurrence on TeamRankings in which they’re upgraded +0.2pts but because of the Ravens being updated +3.9pts and moving up 11 places to the #3 area. A slew of teams proceed down the positions because of that.
Defensive Ratings:
Neither of these two teams looked great on protection from any stretch of the imagination in Week 1. The Rams enabled 343 yards and also gave up 27 points. They finished with a defensive efficiency score of 22.2%. New Orleans let 28pts and allowed 414 yards to the Texans.
They finished with a defensive efficiency rating of 21.4%. Neither team seemed special on the side of the soccer last week. I’ve the Rams as the #18 rated defense in the league along with the Saints since the #21 rated defense in the league after Week 1.
New Orleans Net/Net
The Saints come from Week 1 having a web efficiency score of 1.4percent and they are a web friendly group on yards daily. The Saints went for 7.8 yards per play on offense vs the Texans and allowed 7 yards per play against on defense. A Net/Net rating of +0.8.

LA Rams Net/Net
The Rams finish using a net efficiency score of 2.3percent however they weren’t a positive team about yards per play after Week 1. The Rams went for 4.8 yards per play against the Panthers but gave up 5.4 yards per play on defense. A Net/Net evaluation of -0.6.
The Power Rating of alMac:
The Saints check all the boxes. They are the underdog, they’re the road team and they are the energy. Not to mention this is the greatest revival spot for the Saints who hope to put the past to break and manage business vs the Rams in week 2 and create no doubts about the fact they should have gone to Super Bowl last year after losing to the Rams in controversial fashion at the NFC title game this past season. I have the Saints since the #6 ranked team in the NFL as per my ATS strength ratings.
I believe there’s a ton of worth on New Orleans in this area. I am not so high this year especially if they are going to continue to own injury problems with Todd Gurley. The Rams weren’t striking to me whatsoever in Week 1. I have them ranked as the team in the NFL going into this match.
I have New Orleans around +4.5pts better than the Rams to a neutral area and +1.5pts better than them on the road. This game should be Saints -1.5 in my view. It has since obtained money and this line opened in Rams -3 and moved indoors 3 to 4 -2. I think this line is off. You’re getting about 3.5pts of value to the Saints here.

It is the Saints +2 (-110) through Intertops
Arizona comes into Baltimore on Sunday afternoon and it’s a battle of vs that is greatest . The Ravens come into this match with a league-leading 8.8 yards per play avg coming off that winning win against Miami in Week 1. Baltimore also just let 4.3 yards per play against. As the 27th ranked team after the 1st week of this season in the league as per yards per play, arizona, on the other hand, sit. Arizona just gained 4.7 metres pre-play against Detroit and gave up 6 yards per play on defense into the Lions at a 27-27 tie for Kyle Murray’s Cardinals in Week 1.
My blended power ratings using Internet Yards per Play includes Baltimore at 16.5pts better than Arizona to a neutral field, 19.5pts better in your home. If I am trying to back a dog, or even a street dog especially. This is not the opportunity. This line opened at -13.5 and has since moved back and forth between -13 and -13.5. Despite an almost two-touchdown handicap, I think that the Ravens still have about 6pts of value on them at this point. After convincing myself that Arizona is an persona non-grata place to back.
Although the Cardinals were tested in Week 1 defensively, Baltimore permitted 200 yards and 10 points against a Miami Dolphins team. Arizona allowed 477 yards against the Lions and also 27pts in a tie. As it required Miami 60 percent of their yards to score just 6pts it took 22 percent of the absolute yards of Detroit to score 6pts. Baltimore needed just 10% of their total yards to score 6pts against Miami in Week 1, where Arizona had 22% of the total yards to score 6pts on Detroit. Baltimore includes a +49.8% web efficiency benefit on Arizona in this one.

The advantage on each side of the ball would be for your Ravens here. I see something {similar to a score against what seems to be
