Liverpool were fortunate to escape with some time after being”outworked” by Manchester United, according to the Super Sunday panel.
\nJurgen Klopp’s side saw their lead on peak of the Premier League table after having to come from behind to draw 1-1 at Old Trafford with United, trimmed.
\nUnited dragged the group leaders to some scrap by playing with an intensity so often lacking this season, and Graeme Souness admitted his former side had been lucky to come out with a purpose.
\nHe told Sky Sports:”I thought Liverpool got away with it today, but you must give attention to Manchester United because during that first half, they worked his socks off. They did not allow Liverpool to get into the match in any way.
\n“Their Travels is well known for their work-rate but they were outworked and bossed in there now. Overall, I think the result is fair if you inspect the stats using 68 per cent possession.
\n“However, United will take a lot from it. They turned up today – they seemed organised and they did carry a danger.

\nIn the brief term, the additional two points could have increased Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s facet to eighth in the table instead of 13th, although a triumph that few people outside of Old Trafford seriously expected would have been the spark needed to kick-start their period and raise morale among the squad and lovers.

\nGary Neville stated:”Clearly they’re about to go and perform away from home – that they perform Belgrade, Norwich, Chelsea and then Bournemouth.
\n“I believe this group is appropriate for counter-attacking and playing away from home, only the way they setup just generally.
\n“They have struggled when teams have sat them off like Liverpool did today. Rashford, james and Martial demand space, therefore the away games may suit them but they need to win and go at Bournemouth and in Norwich.
\n“About the Europa League, I truly be concerned about how this squad will cope with playing four games off in 10 days when you look at the chair now – there have been young boys around there today.
