Richard Hannon is confident when returning to action next season, his effort can be left by Mums Tipple at the Middle Park Stakes and continue his progression.
\nThe son of Footstepsinthesand dropped his unbeaten record after neglecting to follow up his victory in a revenue race at York when beating 1 home in the Group One contest last month.
\nEven though Mums Tipple – whos as short as 7-1 for next years Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot – was shown to be lame after the race, the Marlborough handler reports the to be nice.
\nHe said:Mums Tipple never ran his race at the Middle Park, as hes a kick in the gate.
\nHes had X-rays on the legbut he is fine. He is done for the year.
\nWe can get him ready today for the next year and try to achieve that which we think hes capable of. That defeat will have left a man .
\nAn outing in the Qipco 2000 Guineas stays on which had been his final start of the year, on the agenda for Threat, that completed two places ahead of his stablemate from the six-furlong competition.
\nHannon added:I believe we will probably go back up to seven furlongs and proceed to get a Guineas trial of a description. The Guineas is still on the schedule.<\/p>\n
